    Andrew graduated from Ohio State University in 2014 with a degree in Criminology and sociology. Following his passion and love for the game Andrew moved to Portland, OR to pursue his career in Golf. He brings experience with juniors from Summit Golf Foundation, and Glendoveer Summer camps. He has led groups of juniors from ages 7 to 15 years old teaching them how to excel with the game of golf and in life. He has also worked with beginners just starting the game to improve basic fundamentals of the golf swing. Andrew’s teaching philosophy is a simplistic approach, guiding players more with feel and uses a rhythmic approach to help consistency in play.     Mitch Lowe is a member of the PGA of America and has more than 20 years experience as an award-winning private coach, including time spent as an instructor for PGA TOUR, NATIONWIDE TOUR and Canadian PGA TOUR players, in addition to thousands of amateur and junior golfers. He has been the Head Coach for the Academy of Art Women’s Golf Team for the past 4 years.

    Mitch coaches Elite Junior Programs that are open for young golfers looking to play college golf and college golfers looking to play on the professional level. The Elite Juniors meet 1-3 time per week in small groups, allowing for pin point practice and accelerated learning curve.

    All regular individual instructional programs are tailored to the needs of each player with any changes being made simply and naturally with easy and manageable swing thoughts and drills that translate into immediate results.

    His teaching philosophy focuses on getting players to enjoy the game of golf and to feel as though they are constantly improving.

    Mitch was very competitive as a junior golfer and went on to letter four years while on the University of the Pacific's golf team. In 1990, he turned Professional and has played on various tours including the Nike and Canadian PGA Tours.

    He has played in four (4) major championships (PGA Championships at Hazeltine CC in 2009, Whistling Straits GC in 2010, Kiawah Island in 2012 and Baltusrol CC in 2016) along with 9 PGA TOUR events including the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and the Reno Tahoe Open.

    Mitch became a member of the Professional Golfers Association of America in 1999. He has since been honored five times as the Northern California PGA Player of the Year in 2001, 2005, 2009, 2011 and 2012.

    Biography:

    Hank Childs has been a giant in the Portland golf scene for almost 50 years. A member of the PGA since the late 1970’s, Hank began his career at Eastmoreland Golf Course in southeast Portland where he worked for 19 years, including the last 10 as the Head Teaching Professional. It was there that he developed one of the strongest teaching programs in the Northwest and taught thousands of students throughout the region.

    In 1994, Hank was awarded the concessions contract for Rose City Golf Club in northeast Portland, where he was the PGA Head Professional for 29 years. During this period, Hank also found time to compete throughout the Pacific Northwest in PGA-sponsored events, all the while continuing to instruct many students, some of whom have been his clients for 30-plus years. Throughout the years, he was passionate about making golf accessible to all Portlanders and was involved in the development of numerous programs to grow the game.
